carry luis & mei!
carry : my muse carries your muse to their house, either drunk, or a weakened state, can specify.
Witches were annoying things half the time, sometimes they used energy of people nearby for their spells and of course Mei had gotten caught up in this. She was always getting in situations that she really shouldn’t have been in. It wasn’t uncommon for her, she was always in some kind of danger because of course. She was a dumb human and Luis had no reason to be around her but here he was carrying the half passed out woman to her place in Brooklyn. Another place he had no reason being.
Everything about him should have made her scream and run away but she still wanted to be near him. He was an asshole to her half the time and Mei still talked to him, still acted like he was just some friendly guy who wasn’t dangerous at all. Like he couldn’t hurt her without even trying. But even Luis knew he wouldn’t. He should, he spent more time killing humans than he did anything else. But with Mei it was different, he’d never gone out of his way to help a human before. Especially not one who got on his nerves like she did.
“Don’t fall asleep on me.” He muttered adjusting her in his arms, “You have to tell me which place is yours. I’ve never actually been here.” Just because he ended up following her sometimes didn’t mean he actually STALKED her. She’d been awake enough earlier to tell him where she lived but now the woman in his arms was slowly drifting off more. “Come on we’re almost there.” The annoyance he felt was burnt out by the concern he felt for her. Mei was always breakable but she never looked more so right now.
Getting her into the building he shook her awake again just enough to get her room and key. “You’re such a pain in the ass you know that? Who else almost faints on the sidewalk.” Luis pointedly ignored the fact that he wasn’t as annoyed as he wanted to be, worry was what was eating at him. “You’re lucky I was there. You don’t even know what could have happened to you.” She was the first human who could say that, one of the only people ever probably. Luis knew he wasn’t the nicest person, but with Mei it was different.
He felt strange being in her place without her actually knowing, understanding that he was there. It was like he was intruding in her space. She was soft and breakable and he was something entirely different. He didn’t belong in a place like this. Setting her down on her bed, he hoped it was hers, Luis stared for a few seconds. “God you’re so annoying.” he muttered before leaving.
